Dearest Amarah! I wish i could schedule Tess and Amarah and Bohmee time into all my days. Perhaps when I start my job I will re-read this delightful post and re-inquire to myself what “time for myself” really means. For now, I should probably answer texts and emails I’ve been avoiding in the name of “free time and no obligations.” I’m so happy to have had the time to read your writings!
oh my dearest Amarah and Tess! I wish we could have an extra day of the week teleport to each other and lie on the big comfy couch. But until i solve human teleportation (and make a 8th day of the week) the two of you will always be on my mind <3
I love this Amarah! I've been thinking about this a lot too, perhaps because I have too much time for myself (working from home for a job that feels fake). However, in some silly ironic way, I feel my days slipping by because of my remote job's isolation and lack of 9-5ness (I'm getting fewer steps in too). Regardless of how much I try to structure my day, it always devolves into a vague mush of mindless activities.
It seems that I have lost the ability to differentiate between time spent alone and time for myself!
